Welcome to HACORWA

Hands of Compassion Rwanda (HACORWA) is a Local Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) located in Kigali City with Legal Personality No.945/RGB/NGO/LP/11/2023. As a background, HACORWA initially started as Hands of Compassion Foundation in 2010 supporting vulnerable women and youth in Kagarama Sector, Kicukiro District; and has a strong collaboration with local government and other development stakeholders.

Our programs

We Encourage

We are in search of disadvantageous individuals in societies to help and encourage them in anyways possible. We approach and fund all those who are in need.

We Provide Care

Today’s youth and young mothers need a helpful hand and right guidance at every stage. Here’s where we take care of them like our own.

We Educate

We run a different programs mostly educating people about spiritual, economic improvement for a better bright future regardless of age or statuses.

We run organizations events where we share food, gifts and love with underprivileged and their families.

Events

We work with government and communities to address the barriers to a quality education for all children.

Sponsorship will be key to ensure vulnerable children and youth attend school regularly.

Youth Development

We contribute to the prevention of increase of street children, alcohol use, drugs abuse and teenage pregnancy among youth. We also support children and youth to detect and develop their talents by organizing interschool competitions and by creating street children teams.

Economic and Financial development

Economic strengthening is complementing the social protection efforts. The vulnerable youth especially girls and women will benefit from knowledge, education, and skills about financial literacy.

Social Protection and Inclusion

We create awareness in our community about social inclusion particularly for people who are disadvantaged, by enhancing opportunities, access to resources, voice and respect for their rights. We strive to make sure that no one is left behind.
