Hands of Compassion Rwanda (HACORWA) is a Rwandan Local Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) with Legal Personality No. 945/RGB/NGO/LP/11/2023. As a background, HACORWA initially started as Hands of Compassion Foundation in 2010 supporting vulnerable women in Kagarama Sector, Kicukiro District; and has a strong collaboration with local government and other development stakeholders.  In 2016, the Foundation known as Ibiganza by’Impuhwe extended its activities and included supporting the vulnerable people in health facilities and centers of people with disabilities. In 2021, HACORWA got legally registered with Rwanda Governance Board (RGB) with the Operational Certificate No 915/RGB/NGO/OC/06/202, and in 2023 it obtained the Legal Personality Certificate No 915/RGB/NGO/LP/11/2023 as a social and development Rwandan organization with the main aim of supporting vulnerable populations morally, spiritually, socially, and economically. Its founders include the development professionals with solid experience in development and humanitarian fields.
